Trigonometric Functions Calculator
The trigonometric functions calculator will find the sine, cosine, tangent, cotangent, secant, and cosecant of any chosen angle. Enter the angle value in degrees or radians, and see all essential trigonometric functions.

The formula
sin, cos and tan are ratios of a right triangle’s sides
The unit circle view
On a circle of radius 1, the point at angle θ has coordinates (cos θ, sin θ). That single picture explains everything else: why sine and cosine never leave [−1, 1], why they repeat every 360°, and why sin²θ + cos²θ = 1 — it is just Pythagoras on the radius.
The other three are reciprocals: csc = 1/sin, sec = 1/cos, cot = 1/tan. They are undefined wherever their denominator hits zero.
